As a Certified Advanced Drone Pilot at SkyTalon Robotics, you'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, operating our sophisticated long-enduring fixed-wing drones. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient flight operations of our drones over managed forest areas, contributing directly to the early detection of wildfires.

Qualifications:

• Certified Advanced Drone Pilot (Transport Canada)

• Extensive experience in operating fixed-wing drones

• Proficient in flight planning and execution

• Ability to adapt to evolving technology and operational requirements

Responsibilities:

• Conduct drone flights for wildfire detection missions

• Collaborate with our engineering team for mission planning and optimization

• Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and safety protocols

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of flight operations processes

Regulatory Compliance Officer

Job Description:

As a Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in navigating the complex regulatory landscape associated with drone operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in securing Special Flight Operations Certificates (SFOC) and obtaining flight permits, both Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) and Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS), in collaboration with Transport Canada.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in regulatory compliance related to drone operations

• In-depth knowledge of Transport Canada regulations

• Proven track record in successful SFOC submissions

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities:

• Lead the process of obtaining SFOC for various missions

• Liaise with Transport Canada and other regulatory bodies

• Collaborate with our flight operations team to ensure compliance during missions

• Stay informed about changes in regulations and provide timely updates to the team
